Migration Guide

How to Migrate Your BSC NFTs to Enjin Blockchain
◄ Go to Migration Portal View My Tokens Wallet Settings

Misfit Galaxy NFTs are moving from Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to the Enjin Blockchain. This guide walks you through migrating your NFTs step by step.

The process is simple: you burn your BSC NFT, our system verifies the burn on-chain, then automatically sends the matching Enjin NFT to your linked Enjin wallet. The whole process takes around 3–5 minutes.

Before You Start

Make sure you have all of the following ready before starting the migration:

🔑
Misfit Galaxy Account
You must be logged in with your PlayFab account on the website.
🦊
MetaMask Wallet
Installed as a browser extension with your BSC wallet that holds the NFTs.
🔷
Enjin Wallet Linked
Link your Enjin wallet in Settings. This is where you'll receive your new NFTs.
BNB for Gas
~0.01–0.03 BNB in your BSC wallet to cover the burn transaction fee.
🖼️
BSC NFTs to Migrate
At least one eligible Misfit Galaxy NFT on Binance Smart Chain.
🌐
BSC Network in MetaMask
MetaMask must be on BSC Mainnet (Chain ID 56). The portal will prompt you to switch if needed.
1
Link Your Wallets

Link your Enjin Wallet — go to Settings and use the "Link Enjin Wallet" feature. You'll scan a QR code or enter your Enjin wallet address. This only needs to be done once.

Connect MetaMask — on the Migration Portal page, click the "Connect BSC Wallet" button in the status bar at the top. MetaMask will prompt you to connect. Make sure you select the wallet that holds your BSC NFTs.

Tip

Once both wallets show as "Connected" in the status bar at the top of the Migration Portal, you're ready to go. The Enjin wallet shows in green on the left, and BSC wallet shows in orange on the right.

2
Select the NFT to Migrate

On the Migration Portal, you'll see a grid of all your eligible NFTs. They are organized into two tabs:

  • Clones — your Clone NFTs from Collection 4415
  • Ownership Tokens — other eligible token types

Each card shows the NFT image, name, and your available BSC balance. Cards have status badges:

  • AVAILABLE — ready to migrate
  • PENDING — migration in progress
  • MIGRATED — already completed
  • FAILED — needs retry

Click on any card with AVAILABLE status to start the migration.

3
Review & Confirm the Burn

A modal window opens showing a side-by-side comparison of your BSC token and the Enjin token you'll receive.

If you own multiple copies of the same NFT (ERC-1155), use the quantity selector to choose how many to migrate. You can use the MAX button to select all.

Click "Continue" to proceed to the burn warning screen.

⚠ This is Irreversible

You'll see a warning screen explaining that burning is permanent. Your BSC NFTs will be sent to a burn address and cannot be recovered. You must check the confirmation checkbox before the "Burn & Migrate" button becomes active.

4
Approve & Burn via MetaMask

After confirming, the system triggers the burn process through MetaMask. This may happen in one or two transactions:

  • Approval Transaction (first time only) — MetaMask will ask you to approve the Burn Portal contract to manage your NFTs. This is a standard ERC-1155 setApprovalForAll and only needs to happen once per NFT contract.
  • Burn Transaction — MetaMask will prompt you to confirm the actual burn. Your NFTs are sent to the Burn Portal smart contract where they are permanently locked.

Do not close the browser tab while waiting for the transaction to be confirmed. The system automatically submits the transaction hash once MetaMask confirms it.

What If MetaMask Doesn't Pop Up?

Sometimes MetaMask notifications get blocked. Click the MetaMask extension icon in your browser toolbar — the pending transaction should be waiting for your confirmation there.

If the transaction was sent but the page lost track of it, you can use the "Enter TX Hash Manually" option in the modal to paste your burn transaction hash from BSCScan.

5
Receive Your Enjin NFT

Once the burn transaction gets 12 block confirmations on BSC (about 30–60 seconds), the system automatically:

  • Verifies the burn on-chain
  • Initiates the Enjin transfer from the supply wallet
  • Signs and submits the transaction on Enjin blockchain

You'll see a 5-step progress tracker in the modal:

  • ✅ Burn transaction submitted
  • ✅ Burn confirmed on BSC
  • ⏳ Initiating Enjin transfer
  • ⏳ Enjin transfer submitted
  • ⏳ Enjin transfer confirmed

When all steps complete, you'll see "MIGRATION COMPLETE" with links to both the BSC burn transaction and the Enjin transfer transaction.

Done!

Your new Enjin NFT is now in your linked Enjin wallet. You can view it on the My Tokens page or in the Enjin Wallet app. If you have a PlayFab account linked, your clone ownership is also synced to the game automatically.

Troubleshooting
Issue Cause Solution
"Enjin Wallet Not Linked" You haven't connected your Enjin wallet yet Go to Settings → Link Enjin Wallet
"Connect BSC Wallet First" MetaMask is not connected to the page Click "Connect BSC Wallet" in the status bar
"No BSC Balance" Your connected wallet doesn't own this NFT Make sure you're using the correct MetaMask wallet
Insufficient gas fees Not enough BNB in your wallet Add ~0.03 BNB to your BSC wallet for gas
User rejected transaction You clicked "Reject" in MetaMask Start the migration again and click "Confirm" in MetaMask
Stuck in "Burn Submitted" BSC network congestion or low gas Wait a few minutes. If stuck over 5 minutes, click "Retry"
Transfer failed after burn Temporary Enjin network issue Don't worry — your burn is recorded. An admin will retry the transfer
"Migrations Paused" An admin has temporarily paused the system Wait for the system to be resumed — check back later
Wrong network in MetaMask MetaMask is on Ethereum or another chain Switch MetaMask to BSC Mainnet (Chain ID 56)

Frequently Asked Questions
Is migration mandatory?
+
Migration is not mandatory, but Enjin is the future home of all Misfit Galaxy NFTs. BSC tokens will eventually no longer be used in the game ecosystem. We strongly recommend migrating when you're ready.
Can I undo a migration?
+
No. Burning your BSC NFT is permanent and irreversible. Once burned, the BSC token is gone forever. You will receive the equivalent Enjin NFT in your linked wallet. Make sure your Enjin wallet address is correct before starting.
How long does the migration take?
+
The entire process typically takes 3–5 minutes. The burn transaction needs 12 block confirmations on BSC (~36 seconds), then the Enjin transfer is submitted and confirmed automatically. You can monitor progress in real-time in the migration modal.
What happens if the transfer fails after my NFT was burned?
+
Your burn is permanently recorded on BSC blockchain. If the Enjin transfer fails for any reason (network issues, etc.), the system will automatically retry up to 3 times. If all retries fail, an admin will manually process the transfer. You will not lose your NFT.
Can I migrate multiple NFTs at once?
+
You can migrate multiple copies of the same token in a single transaction (using the quantity selector). However, you can only have one active migration per token type at a time. Complete or cancel the current migration before starting another for the same token.
Do I need BNB and ENJ for gas fees?
+
You only need BNB for the burn transaction on BSC (~0.01–0.03 BNB). The Enjin transfer is handled by our server and you do not need to pay Enjin gas fees — we cover that for you.
Where do I see my Enjin NFTs after migration?
+
After a successful migration, your new Enjin NFT will appear on the My Tokens page. You can also see it in the official Enjin Wallet app or on the NFT.io marketplace.
What is the Burn Portal contract?
+
The Burn Portal (0x7c38354f83b237dDAB4D964588fB4e6dD864254c) is a smart contract on BSC that receives and permanently locks your NFTs. It emits an on-chain event that our backend monitors to verify the burn before sending you the Enjin equivalent.
